GROUND MOUNT
SYSTEMS
Another common PV design is called a ground mount system where solar panels are positioned on the ground rather than on the roof.
The panels are usually at a 30 degree tilt aiming due South. Thus, assures maximum solar energy production. We design the row spacing so it generates the optimal production while factoring land use, cost and production.
The posts that hold up the panels are usually driven into the ground but can be placed in concrete ballasts and footers. We’ll determine which design is right and maximize it to meet your needs.
Adding a ground mounted solar panel system to your facility is an economic and strategic measure that will reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, reduce reliance on the struggling electrical grid and improve the value of your property.

IMPROVE PRODUCTION WITH TRACKING SYSTEMS
Single-axis tracking systems will increase energy production due to the panels following the sun throughout the day. They produce more but due to their long span and moving parts they do require more land for the same size DC system.
On the other hand, dual-axis tracking systems move both north-south and east-west. They are designed to maximize energy production all year round.
